This was an amazing experience. I had done the bronze course first which i would recommend as it prepares you. Dugal (the instructor) was fabulous and a great help with great tips and pointers. The restricted test was so chilled out. Dugal was great

On Saturday, 5th April 2025, I finally tested and obtained my restricted motorbike license. I've owned a motorbike since 2017 after getting my learners license but haven't ridden often enough. I tested for my restricted with Dugal from DM Rider Training. I was nervous as hell and don't believe I was a very good student. Dugal was a very thorough trainer and made me aware of faults that I need to correct. His pre-ride conversation was very helpful and informative. The "headset" communication enabled us to discuss the use of mirrors, indicators, scanning for hazards, dangers at intersections, safe positioning on the road as well as moving off and turning back during the assessment phase while riding. Dugal was also able to talk me through my initial nervousness and gave me some advice as to how I might improve my riding skills and abilities for the future. A great experience learning how to ride a motorbike with gears for the first time AND taking the test all within 2 hours. Great coaching and formal testing. I also know a lot more about riding and safety aspects before I did the coaching and test.

Dugal took me through learning to ride, restricted and finally my full today. Top bloke with personalised service. Felt like you leave DM Rider Training with much more than a license. High quality service Dugal.

Well what can I say. Dugal was so patient with me . I am probably his slowest learner 🤣, but he kept at it . We practiced, laughed, swore ( well I did ) and told each other stories . A great experience. Highly recommended. Thanks Dugal . Ill be back for more coaching 🏍🙏🏽
