i just did my learners with Dougal, with a half hour refresher course beforehand. im really glad I did the extra refresher course as my bike riding skills are rusty, and my experience is all off road. i believe i would have failed the test if i had not done the refresher dougal quickly identified what i needed to learn and taught me some basic but crucial on-road skills. his way of teaching is firm but relaxed. he was very clear on what to do, and made sure that I understood what was expected. he provided the bike for the test - a GN125 which was in excellent condition - an easy bike to ride. i plan to go through all stages of advanced training he offers. cheers mate - I'll see you soon (with my kickstand up haha)

did my first ride ever and got my practical done in the one day Dugal is a fantastic and patient teacher absolutely cannot recommend him enough! 🙂

Very good service, had the full Monty experience as a complete beginner and feel very confident going into buying my new bike as well as gear all with recommendations from my instructor. Would definitely recommend to anyone who is trying to take the next step for their bike licensing.

10/10 would recommend, Dugal contacted and booked me in no time at all and Tony was absolutely great to deal with and a good yarn throughout the test too, I’ll definitely be back for my next assessment. Thanks heaps

This place is amazing I filled out one of there forms and that got back to me asap service over the phone was great plus the instructor they have doing the test was really good and knows a lot so I am glad to have learnt so much from him.

10/10 experience with Dm Rider training. Got to work with Tony, he’s a patient teacher & helped me immensely. Would recommend to anyone who’s never sat on a bike before

Instructor was kind and direct. Adapted to my skillset and was very encouraging. Dugal also ensured I was comfortable at all times and expressed interest in me as a person; he didn't just treat me "like another client". I really enjoyed working with him and will continue to do so!

I had a fantastic experience training with Dugal at DM Rider Training. Dugal is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and a top-tier instructor. When I didn't pass on my first attempt, he didn't just send me on my way, he booked me for a later slot the very same day, gave me targeted instruction to fix my mistakes, and helped me comfortably pass on the retest.Beyond the riding test itself, Dugal is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to overall motorbike safety, offering practical advice on choosing proper protective gear from helmet to boots. DM Rider Training is the complete package for anyone looking to do their motorbike training and licensing. Highly recommended!

Dugal provided on-road coaching and conducted our restricted licence tests. My learner licence was issued back in 1996, and I hadn’t ridden for over 20 years! Dugal is an excellent instructor—calm, clear, and passionate about riding and rider safety. His approach made the experience enjoyable and confidence-building. I would highly recommend him to anyone seeking professional guidance for safe, skilful riding or licence testing. We’re thrilled we chose DM Rider Training for our return to the world of motorcycling and rediscovering the joy of riding.
