Highly recommend to anyone unsure or sitting on the fence about getting started with their Motorbike learner licence. Top notch service from start to finish. A great experience learning how to ride a motorbike with gears for the first time AND taking the test all within 2 hours. Great coaching and formal testing. I also know a lot more about riding and safety aspects before I did the coaching and test.

I recently took a course with DM Rider Training and couldn’t be happier. I hadn’t ridden in a while and was a bit nervous, but Dugal quickly put me at ease with his calm, clear instruction. The training was well-paced, safety-focused, and helped me regain my confidence. By the end, I felt ready to hit the road again. On Saturday, 5th April 2025, I finally tested and obtained my restricted motorbike license. I've owned a motorbike since 2017 after getting my learners license but haven't ridden often enough. I tested for my restricted with Dugal from DM Rider Training. I was nervous as hell and don't believe I was a very good student. Dugal was a very thorough trainer and made me aware of faults that I need to correct. His pre-ride conversation was very helpful and informative. The "headset" communication enabled us to discuss the use of mirrors, indicators, scanning for hazards, dangers at intersections, safe positioning on the road as well as moving off and turning back during the assessment phase while riding. Dugal was also able to talk me through my initial nervousness and gave me some advice as to how I might improve my riding skills and abilities for the future.
